Bellasee franchise owners are board-certified ophthalmologists, general or specialized, as well as oculoplastic surgeons. We are looking for doctors with a warm bedside manner, who are ready to leave the grind the medical profession can create. Our franchise owners are financially qualified, and ready to enjoy practicing eyecare the way they envisioned back in med school.
You won’t believe how easy it will be to run your Bellasee center. We offer hands-on support from our founder, Dr. Skeens, plus initial and ongoing training and will welcome you to our center in West Virginia. You’ll be able to relax and outsource your billing, HR, and IT support to our vendors, already familiar with our practice. That means more time for you to care for your patients! Next, members of our team will join you at your location to make sure you feel ready and confident to start receiving patients at your own Bellasee center. In addition, you will have access to our exclusive confidential operations manual to help operate your practice properly on a day-to-day basis.
The estimated initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $510,250 to $851,150 per location, less for a clinic that is converting to a Bellasee model. This includes a $45,000 initial franchise fee for a single unit agreement. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund your initial business growth stages.
We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.
We charge a royalty fee and a surgery center fee, per physician, on a sliding scale based on year in business. Royalties allow us to fund our ongoing support services, training, and the continued development of programs, and systems upgrades to guide you when you own an ophthalmology franchise with Bellasee. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
Bellasee franchise owners are required to spend at least $1,000 per month on local marketing. Franchise owners will also contribute $2,300 per month into the system marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies and materials designed to help promote the Bellasee brand. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years.
